Seeking Clinical Supervisors
Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate Clinical Supervisor to join our growing trauma-informed practice based out of San Leandro, CA.
This position is ideal for licensed clinicians (LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC) who are passionate about mentorship, ethical clinical care, and supporting the professional growth of associate clinicians.
The Clinical Supervisor will provide individual and/or triadic supervision to associate therapists (AMFTs and ACSWs). The ideal candidate is grounded in trauma-informed care, values collaboration and integrity, and is committed to fostering a supportive learning environment for developing clinicians.
This role offers flexibility, leadership opportunities, and the ability to make a meaningful impact on both clients and emerging mental health professionals.
Compensation based on experience, supervision responsibilities, and caseload.
Clinical Supervision Responsibilities
Provide weekly individual and/or triadic supervision to associate clinicians in accordance with California BBS requirements.
Support associates in developing clinical skills, case conceptualization, ethical decision-making, and treatment planning.
Review and sign clinical documentation as required.
Monitor associate progress toward licensure and encourage professional development.
Provide constructive feedback in a supportive, growth-oriented manner.
Maintain compliance with all legal, ethical, and supervisory standards established by the California BBS.
Skills
Strong leadership, mentorship, and clinical consultation skills
Advanced clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning abilities
Knowledge of and experience with trauma-informed and evidence-based modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, psychodynamic, somatic approaches, or other relevant frameworks)
Ability to provide clear, supportive, and constructive clinical feedback
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong ethical judgment and understanding of California BBS regulations and supervision requirements
Ability to balance independent clinical work with collaborative team engagement
Strong organizational and time management skills, including timely completion of documentation and supervisory responsibilities
Cultural humility and ability to work effectively with diverse populations
Commitment to professional integrity, growth, and lifelong learning
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW), Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT), Counseling, or related field from an accredited program
Current California licensure as an LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC in good standing
Meets California BBS requirements to provide clinical supervision to associate clinicians
Minimum of 2 years post-licensure clinical experience preferred
Experience providing supervision, mentorship, or clinical training preferred

We are seeking compassionate, motivated psychotherapists to join our growing practice in a in-person, virtual, or hybrid role. Our office is based out of San Leandro, CA.
This position is open to both associates (AMFT, ACSW) and licensed clinicians (LMFT, LCSW, LPC) who are passionate about providing high-quality, trauma-informed care.
Clinicians will provide a therapy services, supporting a diverse client population. Ideal candidates are grounded in ethical practice, value client-centered care, and are committed to ongoing professional growth.
This role offers flexibility, a supportive clinical environment, and the opportunity to work with individuals navigating trauma, relationship challenges, anxiety, depression, and life transitions.
Compensation for Licensed Clinicians $75/client hour.
Compensation for Associates is based on caseload, starting at $38/client hour.
Benefits offered for clinicians with a caseload of 20+ clients per week.
Responsibilities
For All Clinicians:
Provide high-quality, trauma-informed psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and families via in-person and telehealth sessions
Additional Responsibilities for Licensed Clinicians (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC):
Manage a full caseload independently
Practice autonomously, including clinical decision-making and treatment planning
Optionally participate in case consultation and peer collaboration
Additional Responsibilities for Associate Clinicians (AMFT, ACSW):
Participate in weekly clinical supervision (individual and/or triad) in accordance with BBS requirements
Apply feedback from supervision to clinical work and professional development
Maintain progress toward licensure, including tracking supervised hours
Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop treatment plans, and maintain timely clinical documentation
Utilize evidence-based and client-centered approaches tailored to each client’s needs
Maintain ethical and legal standards in accordance with California licensing boards
Collaborate with team members as needed and contribute to a supportive clinical environment
Skills
Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills
Ability to provide trauma-informed, client-centered care with sensitivity and empathy
Knowledge of and experience with evidence-based modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, psychodynamic, somatic approaches, or other relevant frameworks)
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain therapeutic boundaries
Ability to work independently (licensed clinicians) while also engaging in collaboration and consultation when needed
Openness to feedback and ongoing learning, particularly through supervision (associates)
Strong organizational and time management skills, including timely completion of clinical documentation
Cultural humility and ability to work with diverse populations
Comfort using telehealth platforms and electronic health record (EHR) systems
