Hi, I’m Kim K Watson, an Associate Clinical Social Worker (ASW) with a passion for supporting individuals and families as they navigate life’s toughest transitions. As a Jamaican-American woman and trauma-informed clinician, I bring both cultural sensitivity and lived experience to the heart of my work.

With a professional background in child welfare, domestic violence intervention, substance use recovery, and violence prevention, I’ve spent over a decade walking alongside those impacted by cycles of trauma and systemic challenges. My work has spanned communities, ages, and settings; from crisis response to long-term healing.

I specialize in supporting clients dealing with family conflict, trauma recovery, addiction, and identity development, using a strengths-based and collaborative approach. I incorporate evidence-based modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Narrative therapy, mindfulness practices, and additional techniques tailored to each client’s needs. My approach is flexible, integrative, and centered on creating a safe, collaborative space where clients feel seen and supported.

As your therapist, I aim to be warm, grounded, and real—holding space for truth-telling and transformation. I believe healing happens in relationships, and I’m honored to co-create a space with you that is safe, affirming, and rooted in mutual respect.

At Nurturing Mind, Body & Spirit, we value the connection between emotional well-being and spiritual growth. While I meet each client where they are, my own faith and spiritual grounding help guide me in offering compassionate, holistic care.

I look forward to partnering with you on your journey toward healing, growth, and empowerment.
